Sheridan gives this a pacing and depth one doesn’t often find in “urban” product, though Jackson, reliving his own life traumas, is handily upstaged at every turn by Terrence Howard...

Tupac, you can sleep easy. Richard Pryor, watch out.

The film is a completely disheveled mess, limping from scene to scene with all the urgency of a snail taking his morning constitutional.

Get Rich's story, inspired by Jackson's life, simply doesn't gel.
