It's just 92 minutes of tediously gratuitous suffering that makes you feel like you owe any movie ever dubbed "torture porn" an apology.

No matter the response Beaten to Death elicits in its viewer, there’s no question that filmmaker Sam Curtain delivers a discomforting gauntlet of extreme horror.

"This might be the only instance where I've seen hella violence with very limited gore since the 80s, but not in the best way. There's not much context to add to the situation either."

This type of horror movie is clearly not for everybody, and even those who get a vicarious thrill in witnessing people getting brutalized may find themselves begging for mercy.
