Jitendra Kumar is the saving grace, parleying his skill at playing cussed, obdurate men into a character who starts out as being interesting but soon becomes as dull as the movie itself.

The film is short on both coherence and clarity.

Jitendra Kumar is well within his comfort zone. It should have been a cakewalk for him. But since the tropes that the screenplay places at his disposal do not add up to much, vacuous prattle is all that the role allows him to peddle.

While entertaining in parts, the movie could have been more engaging. Nevertheless, it’s a decent one-time watch for the small-town world that’s created and for its quirky feel.
