The film strings together wacky episodes that give the animators lots of space in which to exercise their whimsy. Yet instead of building on one another, the situations are simply dealt to the characters like cards.

If children of a certain age like this kind of kinetic fare, they're going to like this movie. It never stops, not for one second.

It's great fun for girls and boys, and the animation is really sweeping.

Moana 2 is a joyful triumph that blends the well-loved elements of the original film with fresh characters, enchanting musical numbers and spectacular animation.
