Some of the best scenes in Avicii - I’m Tim are his moments with his collaborators. It is a welcome addition and an unfortunate absence in many music documentaries: the creative process in making music.

There’s a question to be asked after viewing “I’m Tim,” is it possible to keep the reason for your passion pure when it no longer is just your own?

I’m Tim offers a complete, respectful, and ultimately inspiring look at the life and musical legacy of Tim Bergling, aka Avicii.

Avicii — I'm Tim is a bittersweet documentary about this talented artist, but it omits a lot of details about his life, even with rare archival interviews. It's ultimately a cautionary tale about how fame and fortune cannot erase mental health struggles.
