This mad affair suits the principals and its absurdities brought forth gales of laughter yesterday afternoon.

Curiously, for a Marx Brothers comedy, this one is a touch overstuffed, with time added to sing an extra song or two, or for Chico to play more than one composition on the piano (Harpo gets to strum the harp, of course, which is requisite).

Animal Crackers is an improvement on The Cocoanuts with The Marx Brothers bringing the funny in a way that only they can.

This and The Cocoanuts squeak by on the top-notch comedy quotient.
