Critics consensus

“Fast and gleefully over-the-top, Runner makes the most of Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson's winning chemistry to deliver crowd-pleasing action and humor with plenty of heart.”

It's business as usual for both Ritchson and Wilson, but perfectly serviceable action baloney with just enough humour and emotion to keep you engaged.

The film’s never boring despite being tonally uneven. B-movie vibes but it’s fast and fun – and funny.

Alan Ritchson and Owen Wilson go through the action-comedy motions without leaving much of an impression. You can figure out everything you need to know just from the typecasting.

A film packed with explosive, bloody action, funny gags, likeable characters, detestable villains, and credible motivations. [Full review in Spanish].
