Robin Williams: Live on Broadway

While Williams is noticeably less hyperactive than in past appearances, he still relies heavily on a quaint combination of antiquated stereotypes and frantic mugging.

His breakneck delivery, camp mannerisms and array of accents (including a dismal Winston Churchill) only emphasize, rather than conceal, the weakness of his material.

His standup has always been funny, and this live special is a great example of exactly how hilarious the man can be when he's simply let loose without a net.

O estilo frentico e a expressividade de Williams trazem energia performance, mas o monlogo irregular em seu contedo e apenas ocasionalmente engraado.
