The tale of a bad seed immersed in that most horrific of crimes, unregistered gun ownership.

Typical bad Ed Wood production, which is typically great to many.

Better than some Wood films, but somehow less fun.

Is this as bad as everyone says? In a word... Yes. It's dreadful. The relentless, twangy music that accompanies almost every frame of this daft detective yarn is almost as annoying as the profoundly mind-numbing dialogue - but the best bit has got to be the masterful plastic surgery carried out by world renowned "Dr. Gregor" (Herbert Rawlinson - who bears a passing resemblance to George Zucco) on the sofa of the guy's living room - without, it appears anaesthetic (for the patient, or ourselves). Steve Reeves manages to get his shirt off, just in case we doubt it is really him and the last five minutes must raise a smile - wry, no doubt, but a smile nonetheless for it's sheer naffness.
