a brilliant Argentine film noir adaptation of Fritz Lang's M (1931).

A fascinating remake of Fritz Lang's M, only with much of the focus placed elsewhere.

Much like Truman Capote’s seminal "In Cold Blood," 1953’s "El Vampiro Negro" from Argentinian filmmaker Román Viñoly Barreto is a masterwork that tests the limits of what you might consider “entertainment.”

This film differs from the original because it focuses on the mothers whose young girls are terrorized by the pedophile killer.
