The entire film is indecisive about how serious and even touching it wants to be under its farcical facade, or whether, in fact, it is just funkily absurd.

We don't believe these are people -- but as characters, at least they're a stab at something different.

Writer-director John Byrum's storyline is alternately fascinating and flaccid (sorry), but the dialogue hums along nicely.

The story takes place in one day and contains some hilarious moments, most of them "dirty."
