A Hollywood potboiler which probably should have gone straight to video.

Leaves much to be desired.

Grindingly predictable and mechanically played.

Elwes is at peak hotness while Silverstone's unhinged performance as Dorian is inspired. Like any good Erotic Thriller, suspension of disbelief is key (a carousel in the attic?!) but The Crush is plenty of fun.
