Vincent Van Gogh: A New Way of Seeing

As a primer for those who know next to nothing about him, or the more informed who'd like a brush up, this is an eminently serviceable work, albeit one that really doesn't need to be seen in a cinema.

[Vincent van Gogh: A New Way of Seeing] is a sober, sensitive assessment and straightforward presentation that reminds viewers of van Gogh's humanity and breathtaking art.

The 90-minute documentary is both a reshowing of the gallery's collection as well as a celebration of the 125th anniversary of the artist's death.
