“Although Amy Adams remains just as engaging as ever, Disenchanted lacks the magic that made its predecessor a modern fairytale classic.”

Disenchanted starts with promise but largely drops those interesting threads when the over-the-top action really kicks off.

The abundant charm that elevated "Enchanted" to the status of a minor Disney classic has been excised from this sequel

How much you enjoy yourself depends on whether you’re a fan of the original, or of Amy Adams.

The film’s thesis – that we should remember how much we loved watching Enchanted – might leave you wondering why you wouldn’t simply watch Enchanted.
