It's a movie of amusing parts rather than a satisfying whole.

The picture is an obnoxious mess with its heart in the wrong place. The more it pushes to be clever, the more meaningless it becomes.

An unpersuasive, amateurishly told story of an abused wife escaping her old (straight) life and embarking on a new (lesbian) life.
