When a government official disappears in the London tunnels, after several reports of missing people in the same location, Scotland Yard start to take the matter seriously, along with a couple who stumble into a victim by accident.
It's undermined by several vast improbabilities in the script and by the painfully inept performance of one of its leads, David Ladd.

RAW MEAT isn’t just going for the shocks...but aims to capture a real sense of a sociopolitically fractured time. ... [It] is both eerie and deeply sad, with a more heartbreaking poignancy than one would ever expect from a film of this [U.S-release] title

Beyond its terror overtones, what gives the picture a tremendous lift is the delightful repartee between Donald Pleasence and Norman Rossington.

Raw Meat has the start of an interesting story about a cannibal stalking the London Underground, but sadly the film is rather lacking in thrills, as well as story & character development.
