An astute mixture of multi-strand drama and murder mystery that engrosses for two solid hours.

Tonal and - particularly - pacing issues make a melodramatic meal out of a conclusion which would have been more effective as a short, sharp shock.

While its story gets painfully blunt at times, the film did not fail to make me feel a turmoil of emotions.

A slow-burning drama on the paranoia and distrust inherent in human relationships.
