After Spring

With no end in sight to the violence in the region, the residents of Zaatari are forced to contemplate an indefinite future living in tents and struggling to achieve a semblance of normalcy. After Spring shines a vital spotlight on their travails.

It's a testament to the fact that even in the midst of the most monstrous conflicts, human grace and compassion can be found.

After Spring captures some of the complexity and contradiction of Zaatari as a temporary solution to a problem that has no obvious end in sight.

Among the film's most poignant scenes, understandably, are the moments when the families talk about their homeland.
