This is a deranged nightmare of wildness, as full of laughs as it is arterial sprays. It won't be everyone's cup of thé, but its joyously vulgar title probably deters those likely detractors anyway.

Afonso doesn't push the cartoonish allure far enough into shocks or titillation, and he's not inventive enough to make up for the absence of cheap thrills.

Girls With Balls scores some points for its Z-movie conceits but could have benefited from stronger writing and direction.

The horror comedy is probably one of the hardest nuts to crack, and I feel like Afonso and his ensemble of badass ladies nailed it here, delivering the laughs and gore heaping portions.
