Given the nature of its story, the film seems oddly disinterested in emphasizing action, fear or thrills.

The problem is, there is no fun.

"The Postcard Killings" - awkwardly pitched between serious art and pulp trash - doesn't do nearly enough.

This is not a good movie. It’s a classic, generic James Patterson story where the characters have little to no personality traits whatsoever. Every character could switch lines, and it would barely change the movie.
