"Wastelander" proves how computers have made it easier to produce a film for pennies with a look that would have cost a fortune 40 years ago. Unfortunately, "Wastelander" also confirms that a mediocre script still dulls even the shiniest picture.

Despite the cut-and-paste boilerplate nature of the genre tropes employed, I’m not knocking it; Wastelander is a fun romp.

Budgetary constraints unfortunately make _Wastelander_ all but unwatchable. I did get through it, but was a chore, not a pleasure, as much as I had wished the opposite was true. _Final rating:★½: - Boring/disappointing. Avoid where possible._
