When not confined to the 22-minute restrictions of an up-to-the-minute news show, Noah really likes to stretch out, weaving well-rehearsed tales that always end up with a nice little bow on top.

What emerges is a funny but thoughtful comic who relies as much on evidence as he does on disparagement. He's curiously confident, coolly logical and knows when to slip in a searing joke as an aside.

The best thing about Trevor is he's so likeable. That's such a rare qualification to have in the world of stand-up comedians today.

Noah shines not so much in the scripted moments, but in the scenes in between.
