With beautiful cinematography by Georges Lendi, Cousin, Cousine is a remarkable experience that offers the movie-goer a cordial invitation to warmth and salvation.

Jean-Charles Tacchela's Cousin Cousine not only reminds us that French filmaking is as strong as ever, but this irresistible romantic comedy carries us back to the wonderful comedies of the 1930s.

One of the most delightfully engaging and romantic French films since A Man and A Woman.

This French comedy about an open adulterous affair was a smash hit in the U.S. and received three Oscar nominations, including Best Actress Marie-Christine Barrault; Schumacher's American remake makes clear why the original Gallic film is superior.
