Bhoomi

Lakshman has some really good ideas for an educational and inspiring movie. But, it is a great shame that neither does he have the required understanding of the matter at hand nor the skillset to turn all the information into a compelling drama.

Bhoomi doesn’t give you a moment to breathe or even feel what just hit you.

There’s a great idea, with echoes of the Swadeshi movement, that says farmers should be self-dependent. But if intentions were enough, every movie would be a masterpiece.

Bhoomi and Richard are involved in a cat-and-mouse game, but one that is hardly compelling.
