It's the personal demons rather than old-fashioned monsters that get you - one of [the] central tenets of Cummings' genre exercise/portrait of a screw-up mash-up.

"The Wolf of Snow Hollow" is a pleasingly quirky outing that has fun with the mythologies of both monsters and men.

Cummings is so whip-smart in sustaining his manic energy with a layer of genuine pathos, that the effect transcends one-note cliche.

The Wolf of Snow Hollow is a very relatable and well-made movie that just happens to feature some very tense moments. It’s more fun than I bargained for, and the twist is quite good once you put together what it all means for all the characters involved.
