It embraces the cheesiness with a likeable cast

For a Disney Channel original, you'll have fun with Lemonade Mouth, and you could definitely do a lot worse.

Besides the social themes, there are plenty that relate to family life, and the movie's message about honest communication between parents and kids is impossible to miss.

Lemonade Mouth is predictably bland - you can't imagine a more fresh-faced and squeaky-clean bunch of outsiders than this lot - but for the film's target audience the performers and songs have enough fizz to hit the spot.
