Despite these aspects, the story gets a bit muddy in the middle and the narrative tone doesn’t flow properly.

Riverdance: The Animated Adventure isn’t a bad movie, it just isn’t particularly memorable either.

If you accept the fact that this gorgeously animated film is incurably weird, then you can appreciate the fact that it's also surprisingly wonderful.

Riverdance: The Animated Adventure offers a new musical chapter to fans of the original production, as well as a bit of folklore and a rousing tale for kids with a sense of humor and the usual complement of wise talking animals.
