As funny and action-packed as this finale is, there's a bittersweet undercurrent as viewers grapple with what not even death or messy mergers could do: end the Venture Bros.

If we were never to see the Ventures again, “Radiant” lets us part with them on a high note, but hopefully this end is just the beginning.

For any fan of this series that began as a Johnny Quest spoof and evolved into something much more layered and special, this is a wonderful way to close out the story and provide solid answers to series-long questions. Go Team Venture!

In terms of the plot, acting, and direction, there’s more than enough here to impress viewers. The problem is that it all seems to go by so fast.
