Storyline

When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle — a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music — living in the attic of his new home. But when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primms must band together to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places.

This desperately wants to have the charm, the wit, the zing, the joie de vivre of Paddington, and it doesn't.

Bardem’s totally unexpected performance as a song and dance man is the main reason to see the film.

RTThe Age (Australia)Dec 23, 2022

[Left an] uncanny aftertaste, common to much current Hollywood family entertainment: a sense that wit, personality and emotional insight have been more or less skilfully simulated.

It is an entertaining film that, despite falling into clichés and lacking shocking narrative twists, is a fun family adventure that talks about bonds and friendships. [Full Review in Spanish]
