It is amusing to note that the only effective scene from the point of view of subjectivity is the scenic railway, shot with an ordinary camera with the help of a transparency.

The story, script and acting in Man In the Dark are about as mediocre as they can get. The picture has to rely on 3-D gimmicks to pick it up off the floor.

You have to wear special 3-D goggles to make visual sense out of this hackneyed crime melodrama.

Silly, low-budget, B-film crime drama, shot in 3-D.
